Mississippi Society For Disablities and Metro Area Community Empowerment joined together to sponsor a tennis clinic at the Byram Court House. Johnny McGinn, President of the Mississippi Wheelchair Tennis Association demonstrated how fun the game can be using sports wheelchairs for the disabled. Participates enjoyed a fun morning socializing with their peers and a great Catfish lunch.

Mississippi Society For Disabilities is proud of our affiliation with “Dream Street” a summer, sleep-away camp for Children with physical disabilities.
The campers will enjoy 5 days and 4 nights packed with fun activities while having the opportunity to learn new skills and make new friends.
All eligible campers are 100% funded and will be accepted on a 1st come bases.

The MSD Event’s / Promotions Committee Chairman is Ken Cleveland.
This committee is working diligently with our ‘Tis the Season Chairmen to prepare for this event in December.
We have elected two new members to serve on the MSD Board of Director’s:
Presley Posey who was the CAP Director for many years, has been appointed Chairman of the CAP Committee.
Conrad Ebner is a CPA and partner / Tec Partners, and will serve on the MSD Financial Committee.
